Der Stadtteil Eixample (spanisch: Ensanche, deutsch: Erweiterung) gilt bei den meisten Besuchern Barcelonas als langweilig. Alles sieht irgendwie gleich aus, die Straßen kreuzen rechtwinkelig, es gibt keinen Strand mit Chiringuitos, etc.
Dabei gibt es neben den Jugendstilhäusern noch weitere Attraktionen zu entdecken, welche nicht von Gaudí sind:

The message for reading dogs:El barrio de Barcelona que parece menos atractivo para los turistas es el Ensanche (l’Eixample). Todo parece igual, rectagular y no hay playa ni chiringuitos.
Pero se puede descubrir cosas interesasntes y curiosos que no son de Gaudí:

Für Fussgänger ist eh zweitrangrig, welche Farbe leuchtet…
Colour of traffic light is – somehow – not interesting for pedestrians…El color no importa. Por lo menos a los viandantes…
