Tokio Hotel expandieren ins nicht deutschsprachige Ausland; nicht nur mit Videoclips, Radiodauerplay und Klingeltonwerbung.

In Eivissa (Ibiza-Stadt) trafen wir das Tokio Hotel Street Team. Fünf Mädchen (ganz aus dem Häuschen, als sie merkten, dass wir Deutsche sind) sammeln Unterschriften dafür, dass ihre Lieblingsband nach Spanien kommt. Begleitet mit Musik aus dem MP3-Player und einem riesigen Pappaufsteller der Band, mit dem Slogan “En tu mano está que la fiebre se convierta en epidemia” steht. Dieser bedeutet in etwa “Du kannst aus dem Fieber eine Epidemie machen”. Hoffen die Veranstalter auf eine späte Revanche für die Spanische Grippe?

German pop band “Tokio Hotel” expands to non-German speaking markets

not only by video clips, radio and ring tones:

In Eivissa (Ibiza-City) we met the “Tokio Hotel Street Team”. Five girls (went crazy by recognising that we are German) collecting signatures for a petition which will ask the band to come and play in Spain. Accompanied by music from a MP3 and a huge paper display showing the band and the slogan “En tu mano está que la fiebre se convierta en epidemia”. This means “You may turn the fever into an epidemic”. Will this be the German (late) revanche on the Spanish flu?
